Sue Moffitt paints in an idyllic rural setting with views across the Tyne Valley, 25 minutes from Newcastle. Her work reflects this rural idyll. Sue is known for her sought-after ‘‘cow’’ paintings, and it is her love of animals and wildlife that inspires her. Her work reflects her surroundings and environment, and she gets constant stimulation from them. ‘‘I find the more I paint, the more I become involved in consideration of the process of painting and the application of paint. The process is a constant challenge and never seems to get any easier. But this is what drives the painting forward.’’

Having studied Fine Art at Sunderland University and then Art and Design at Newcastle, Sue became a professional artist. She exhibits in galleries around the UK.
