Linda M Farquharson is a Scottish artist printmaker. She specialises in relief printing and she makes small limited edition linocuts and wood engravings at her studio in Perthshire.

Her themes include country pursuits, gardens, animals and the elements ^ all favourite subjects reflecting a childhood spent on an Aberdeenshire farm. The use of vibrant colour and pattern are to some extent influenced by travel in eastern Europe and a love of Indian miniature painting. Linda first became interested in printmaking at art college while studying illustration.

Linda graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in 1986 with a BA (Hons) and the Sekalski prize for Printmaking. She went on to work for several years as a commercial illustrator undertaking commissions with design and advertising companies using her printmaking skills. In 1988 she had her first ‘‘one-woman’’ exhibition and has continued to exhibit throughout the UK ever since. Her prints can be found in many private and corporate collections and her work is regularly seen in RSA, RGI and Society of Wood Engravers annual exhibitions.
